TRANSFER ON DEATH DEEDS

This presentation will cover transfer on death deeds, from practical use to essential elements. It will also cover possible traps for claimants, including valid revocation by the transferor. Practical tips for dealing with issues with creditors and joint owners will be presented. Ellen, a shareholder with Burdette & Rice, PLLC, focuses her practice on disputes in trial and appellate courts concerning estates, trusts, and guardianships. She also advises estate administrators, executors, trustees, and guardians in uncontested administrations. Ellen works closely with her clients to reach effective resolutions to important issues.
